About Brian
Brian Haywood, investment strategy advisor, takes pride that in an industry where decisions are often driven by commissions and not conscience, he and his team spend their time customizing portfolios on behalf of Buckingham Strategic Wealth clients, upholding their fiduciary responsibility by doing what’s in the best interest of each client. Brian is also a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee, lending his insight on the firm’s overall investment strategy.
Prior to joining Buckingham, Brian was a retail sales assistant for UMB Brokerage Services, Inc.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University. He passed the NASAA Series 65 examination in 2006 and passed his NASD Series 7 and NASAA Series 63 examinations in 2003.
A passionate supporter of the Gateway Area Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Brian is a seven-time participant in the organization’s Bike MS event, a long-distance cycling event that has raised more than $1 billion dollars for the organization since 1980.
Brian and his wife, Rachel, live with their daughter, Ella, in Affton, Missouri.
