About Hannah
As learning & development manager, Hannah Collman is in charge of the development of face-to-face, virtual and other educational and training programs to support Buckingham’s evidence-based approach to investing, planning and the client experience. Hannah is passionate about education and creating thoughtful content to help the team expand our educational curricula to grow the advisory practice.
For Hannah, collaboration is key in her role as she serves the advisory teams and clients by listening and creating resources on complex financial planning matters. Always eager to learn, she is passionate about creating resources and reference points about all things financial planning, investing and tax.
Previously, she served as a senior financial planner for Savant Wealth Management, working on the wealth strategy team and supporting client relationships by building financial plans, preparing tax returns and estate and trust planning. Most recently she worked as an associate financial planning nerd for Kitces.com, working closely with Jeffrey Levine, supporting his writing and research as well as course-building for the Kitces Education team. She joined Buckingham in 2021. Hannah earned a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University where she double majored in accounting and finance. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor as well as a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional.
A German Valley, Illinois native, Hannah left the Midwest for the East Coast in 2017 and now happily calls Alexandria, Virginia home. She and her fiancé love to cook, golf, bike and explore all the wonderful activities the D.C. metro area has to offer.
